Netflix hit the jackpot with Squid Game, its most popular Korean drama ever, and what is shaping up to be one of its most-watched foreign-language productions period. The show is planted at #1 on the service and has been trending on social media non-stop since its release.

Ever since watching Parasite, I am slowly becoming a K-Po- I mean a K-Drama fanboy. Korean Movies and TV shows are slowly showing up more and more on our screens bringing with them new plot ideas with amazing thriller series that will have you on the edge of your seat.

If you binged Squid game and can’t figure out what to watch next, Here’s what you should check out;

Squid Game

Squid Game is a television series written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk. The nine-episode series, starring Lee Jung-Jae, Park Hae-soo, and Wi Ha-Joon, tells the story of a group of miserable people who risk their lives in a mysterious survival game for the chance to win a ₩45.6 billion prize.

Han Joo-Won is an elite detective and comes from a distinguished background. His father has a good chance of becoming the next chief at the National Police Agency. Han Joo-Won also has a secret.

A serial murder case takes place in a small, peaceful city. The case is the same serial murder case that took place 20 years ago and changed Lee Dong-Sik’s life. The two detectives work to catch the killer.

Tell Me What You Saw is strictly categorized as a thriller and suspense series.  That is exactly what audiences will get from this chilling and dark series. Oh Hyun-Jae (Jang Hyuk) was once highly regarded as a criminal profiler known for solving uncrackable cold cases. His world shattered when his fiancée is killed in an explosion set by a serial killer.

Unable to deal with the grief, he shuts off from others. One day a new killer emerges with the same MO. While another detective is on the case, he meets Cha Soo-Young (Choi Soo-Young), a detective with a photographic memory. She teams up with Hyun-Jae to seek retribution for his fiancée and stop the killer.

5. Sweet Home

What’s a thriller list without a bit of horror? Hyun, a loner high school student who lost his entire family in a terrible accident, is forced to leave his home and has to face a new reality where monsters are trying to wipe out all of humanity. Now he must fight against all odds to try and race against the clock to save what is left of the human race before it’s too late.
