Twitter has announced that everyone can now record their Space conversations on both iOS and Android devices for listening later.
The new feature adds more value to your Spaces content, which can now be re-shared just like podcasts if someone missed it live. It will also make it easier to think about re-purposing your content in a bigger way.
How to Record and Save your Spaces as Podcasts
While hosting a space, turn on the “Record Space” toggle on and you are set.
When a chat is being recorded, there will be a red “Rec” sign in the top left corner of the main Space screen. As a host, you can stop recording at any time during the chat.
After you have finished recording, you can download the audio and share it as a podcast. The recorded space will be public for 30 days on Twitter after.
Although interest in the feature has fluctuated in recent months, Twitter continues to emphasize Spaces as a major growth factor as it seeks new methods to expand its audience and increase user engagement in the app.
