Starting from December 16, 2023, the annual subscription cost will increase from Ksh 3,000.00 to Ksh 3,800.00. The new price is inclusive of all taxes, meaning that users will not be subjected to any additional costs beyond the stated price. However, it’s important to note that the subscription fee will be automatically charged (plus any taxes) to the provided payment method until you decide to cancel.
“Google LLC is increasing the price of your subscription “Google One (200 GB)” from Ksh 3,000.00/year to Ksh 3,800.00/year starting on December 16, 2023,” Google said in a statement. “You’ll automatically be charged the subscription price (plus any taxes) to the payment method provided until you cancel.”
Google has also indicated that the price may change again as described in the Google Play Terms of Service. This suggests that users should stay informed about potential future changes to the pricing structure.
Users have the option to cancel their subscriptions at any time without incurring additional charges. Upcoming charges can be viewed in the Subscriptions section on Google Play, providing users with transparency and control over their subscription costs.
