Google’s Android 12 beta the most downloaded Android beta since it was first made available to users.
The new Android which is currently available to download in beta 2 for a few devices is coming to more users later this year.
For the first time in a long time, Google is making huge UI changes this time introducing an exciting new Material You redesign and important privacy features including a permissions usage log, a new and simplified power menu, and a system-wide theming engine that will allow users to set colours for the system interface and for apps like Google Messages.

This year, Asus, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Sharp, Tecno, TCL, Vivo, Xiaomi, ZTE, were all part of companies with devices being eligible to download the beta version. With such a wide range of manufacturers on board, it is perhaps no surprise that Android 12 is the most downloaded/installed beta in its history so far.
