Android 12 Screenshots Leak, Here’s Whats New

Google’s Android 12 is coming this year and we now have a first look at some of the new aspects of Android 12 including a redesign and a bunch of new features.

The folks over at XDA Developers have published a bunch of screenshots that suggest upcoming changes to Google’s new Android version.

The screenshots allegedly leaked from a document made by Google to summarize the changes in the new version.

The screenshots show redesigned widgets and possible privacy settings that might allow you to now disable the camera and microphone through a toggle.

Android 12 resembles iOS a lot, from the new design to the new privacy features. iOS recently released a feature that shows you an app is using your camera or microphone.

Android 12 will allegedly also let users disable all sensors on their Android phone when developer settings are enabled.

The screenshots also show off some new widgets that are in the works.

Android 12 comes with a new Conversation widget that highlights recent messages, missed calls, and activity statuses.

While minimized the widget only shows one item at a time.

Other things expected to come with Android 12 are app pairs, double tap on the back of your phone’s gesture, sharing Wi-Fi passwords with nearby devices, improved theming system, emoji updates decoupled from system updates, and an app hibernation feature.
