Fifa 21, the football simulation video game published by Electronic Arts as part of the FIFA series has been out for a while now and with the 2020-21 season now over that means FIFA 22 release date is almost here.
The 29th installment in the FIFA series will be available to play as early access soon with key details around FIFA 22 expected to be shared next month at EA Play Live on July 22.

EA Sports announced FIFA 21 at its EA Play event last year and it is possible that it could do the same for FIFA 22.
However, there is also a possibility that FIFA 22 could be announced at the E3 event which will run from June 12, 2021, until June 15th.
Sources say FIFA 22 early access will begin, roughly, at the beginning of October 2021 with other reports saying EA Play and Origin Access members will be able to download and play FIFA 22 on September 30, 2021.
As noted by EA CEO Andrew Wilson FIFA 22 is built for next-generation consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series-X/S “All of our new EA Sports games are designed for next-gen console platforms including FIFA, Madden, NHL, and EA Sports PGA Tour.”
