Dogecoin is a cryptocurrency invented by software engineers Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer, who decided to create a payment system that is instant, fun, and free from traditional banking fees. Dogecoin features the face of the Shiba Inu dog from the “Doge” meme as its logo and namesake.

How to buy DogeCoin in Kenya

  1. First, you will need a wallet with an exchange that has listed Doge, open one with Binance here if you don’t already have one.
  2. You will need to join their peer-to-peer (p2p) trading platform and buy some BUSD, USDT, or Bitcoin, you can also send Bitcoin you already own to your Binance spot wallet.
  3. Head over to trades, select spot, and select the currency you have a balance, for example, if you bought Bitcoin, select the DOGE/BTC pair.
