Kenya’s largest telco Safaricom recently launched Fuliza, an overdraft feature that users to complete M-PESA transactions even when they have insufficient funds in their M-Pesa account.
The overdraft service is a product of NCBA Bank and is offered through Safaricom’s M-Pesa platform.
Fuliza is available to all M-PESA customers, However, Safaricom sets a limit for you depending on your credit viability and how long you have been using M-PESA. You may then access funds multiple times as long as you are within your Fuliza limit.
How to Increase Your Fuliza Limit
There is no instant way to increase your Fuliza limit and it can’t be done overnight, Safaricom says your Fuliza limit will organically grow as you continue using Safaricom and M-Pesa services frequently. Taking and repaying Fuliza debt on time by topping up your M-Pesa account will also help.
There is no way to trick Fuliza.

Fuliza limits can go as high as 70,000 shillings, however, failing to pay your Fuliza debt after 30 days will deter your Fuliza limit from growing.
