A few updates ago, Twitter removed a feature we all loved, the ability to just press on a tweet and copy the whole tweet together with the embedded media.
However, the feature isn’t completely gone. You can access it easily on iOS but you will need to put in an extra step on Android.
How to Copy and Embed Twitter Video Posts in Your Tweets on iOS
- Scroll over and view the Tweet/video that you want to embed and post.
- Tap and hold down on the “play button” for the Tweet’s video
- Select the “Tweet Video” icon at the bottom of your screen.
How to Copy and Embed Twitter Video Posts in Your Tweets on Android
- Copy the link to the Tweet you want
- Paste the link to the tweet and add ‘/video/’ to the end of the Tweet’s URL

For instance, for the above tweet, the URL is (https://twitter.com/i/status/1566525363831947267) so I would paste it as (https://twitter.com/i/status/1566525363831947267/video/1)
