Over the years, Twitter users have complained of the popular microblogging site compressing videos and images uploaded on the platform and making them look comparably worse than the actual raw image.
To deal with this, the social media platform decided to let users finally view and upload 4K pictures on Android.
How to Upload high quality 4K images to Twitter
Uploading a 4k image requires a tweak in the settings. To enable,
- You will need to head over to Settings and privacy
- Find and select Accessibility,display and languages
- Click on Data usage
- Select High-quality image upload on your android smartphone
- Select the option to upload high-resolution images on both using Mobile data or Wi-Fi
How to Upload high-quality videos to Twitter
To enable uploading a high quality video;
- You will need to head over to Settings and privacy
- Find and select Accessibility,display and languages
- Click on Data usage
- Select High-quality video upload on your android smartphone
- Select the option to upload high-quality videos on both using Mobile data or Wi-Fi
