Watching your favorite Netflix shows in Kenya has never been easier, After the American over-the-top content platform and production company launched a pocket-friendly mobile-only plan for Kenyans for Sh300, it has now launched a new free plan exclusive to Kenya.
Netflix is banking on offering you a limited (a quarter to be precise) amount of shows to make you want to pay for their subscriptions once you get hooked. The shows you can watch include Bridgerton, Money Heist, Blood & Water, Lupin etc.
The catch is the content will only be available on Android phones and you won’t able to download a show or a movie.
“This is a great way to experience our service…and if you like what you see, it’s easy to upgrade to one of our paid plans so you can enjoy our full catalogue on your TV or laptop as well,” Netflix Product Innovation director, Cathy Conk wrote in a company blog post.
