Remember the Huawei P50 pocket? well, Huawei plans to launch its successor next week. The Beijing-based company posted a video on Monday teasing a Nov. 2 launch date for the Huawei Pocket S, the company also showcased the different colors the device will be available in.
If the video is anything to go by, the new Pocket S will be available in six colorways as each letter of the word “pocket” is featured in a different hue. Those colorways include black, pink, blue, yellow, white, and green.
Huawei launched the P50 Pocket last year to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip series. The device features a unique clamshell design that folds down into a small square. In comparison, the P50 pocket has two large circles on the outside while the Z Flip has one big rectangle.
According to sources, the new Pocket S is set to run on a 4G chipset, which is pegged to be either a Snapdragon 888 4G or a Snapdragon 778G. Huawei might also eliminate the small cover screen on the front making the Pocket S a lower-end version of the original P50 Pocket, and thus cheaper.
