Instagram will no longer recommend Reels with logos from other apps like TikTok to users in a bid to promote short videos created on its own platform.
The company published a couple of new guidelines for creators on Instagram’s creators’ account, asking users to use the new Instagram vertical format and the app’s own sound library instead of importing videos from other apps.
Instagram also asked users to avoid uploading clips with low-resolution or visibly recycled content from other apps.
