OnePlus 9, 9 Pro Launched, Everything You Need To Know

OnePlus held a virtual event yesterday to launch their top of the end flagships and their first smartwatch. These devices which were launched globally include the OnePlus 9 Pro, the OnePlus 9, and the OnePlus watch. Here’s everything you need to know about them.

The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro

A month ago, OnePlus started marketing their new phone by announcing that they had partnered with the Swedish camera maker Hasselblad to fine tune the phones camera.

The OnePlus 9 and the 9 Pro are the first phones sporting cameras benefitting from the alliance that made major headlines.

Usually, the OnePlus focuses most on the display and performance of the device. despite the camera PR, this year the devices still have awesome displays. The 9 Pro features a QHD display and a 48-megapixel custom Sony IMX789 sensor as the primary camera.

The device gives OPPO a run for their money with wireless technology, edging them by miles with the 50W wireless charging.

OnePlus Watch

After launching their first fitness band, OnePlus has now launched a smartwatch. dubbed the OnePlus Watch, it runs on custom software unlike others in the niche who run Google’s WearOS. The watch has a 46mm circular display in a 2.5D curved glass.

The watch comes with 1GB RAM and 4GB of internal storage for apps and some music. OnePlus says the 402 mAh battery will last you for a week. If you happen to drain it faster, it supports fast charging with just 20 minutes giving you upto a week

As with any other smartwatch you can manage notifications, take photos, and control your music.

The smartwatch offers more than 110 workout types, has automatic workout detection for jogging and running, a heart rate sensor and an in-built GPS to track your distances. The Smartwatch also has support for blood oxygen saturation and stress monitoring.
