OPPO Kenya has today appointed Africa’s 100m record holder Ferdinand Omanyala as an ambassador, joining the O Stars team for the Reno6 5G that comprises actor Pascal Tokodi, artist Avril Nyambura, media personalities Lulu Hassan and Jalang’o.
Ferdinand Omanyala Omurwa, is a Kenyan sprinter who specializes in the 100m and 200m events. He is currently the African record holder and 8th fastest man of all time in the 100 metres after clocking a time of 9.77 on 18th Sep 2021 at the Kip Keino Classic Tour. He will spearhead the ‘Embrace Speed Campaign’.
