Global smartphone manufacturer OPPO has announced that the OPPO Reno5 has been selected as the official smartphone partner for the PUBG MOBILE Middle East and Africa (MEA) Esports 2021.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is an online multiplayer battle royale game developed and published independently by Lightspeed & Quantum Studios of Tencent Games.

The OPPO Reno5 was selected for its extraordinary gaming hardware and software that deliver an exceptionally immersive and fluid gaming experience.

As the official smartphone partner of PUBG MOBILE Esports in the Middle East & Africa regions in 2021, OPPO will play an active part in the company’s Esports championships that will run throughout the year.

Gaming on the OPPO Reno 5

The OPPO Reno5 is powered by the Snapdragon 720G processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and fast 128GB internal storage space. As for the GPU, it has the Adreno 618 to make sure you never get any stutters when you play your favorite games.

In terms of display when gaming, you get an AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display is 6.43 inches in size with a high resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.

The device is also smooth, light, has a slim design, and 50W fast charging to handle all your gaming needs. You can play PUBG Mobile at the highest frame rates and with HD graphics at the highest graphics settings available smoothly with no issue with the performance.

The Reno 5 also comes with a Gamer mode which can let you:
