OPPO has today finally unveiled the OPPO Reno6 5G in Kenya. The device is OPPO Kenya’s first foot in the 5G market in the country with plans to introduce a wide range of 5G-enabled products.
The OPPO Reno6 succeeds OPPO Reno5 with a couple of upgrades. OPPO focused on tweaking a few things here and there and improving on the shortcomings of the Reno 5 series.
The first and major upgrade is the new Dimensity 900 5G processor coupled with Mali G78 GPU and 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which is supposed to make the device ultra-smooth and fast.
In terms of cameras, the Reno6 features a 64MP primary camera with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro sensor.
At the front, the phone packs a 32MP front-facing camera, a 6.43 1080p AMOLED display, and a 90Hz refresh rate.

OPPO Reno6 5G Availability and Price in Kenya
Just like the Reno5 series, OPPO brings two color options — Stellar Black and Aurora — with the Aurora variant changing color based on the light falling on it to manifest a glowing look.
The OPPO Reno6 5G runs Android 11 and ColorOS 11.3 out of the box with a scheduled Android 12 update.
OPPO Reno6 5G will be available for pre-order from today until the 15th of September in select online retailers like Masoko for Sh59,999
The pre-order bundle includes the device, Enco Air earbuds, an OPPO band, and a backpack.
