Smartphone manufacturer OPPO has today introduced two new devices under its A series portfolio – the OPPO A74 and the OPPO A54 in the Kenyan market.
OPPO A74
The OPPO A74 has a 6.43-inch AMOLED punch-hole display with an impressive 1080 x 2400 FHD+ resolution.
The device runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chip coupled with 6GB of RAM. The device gets its juice from a large 5000mAh battery and has 33W Flash Charge which OPPO says can charge up to 54pc in only 30 minutes and a full charge in 72 minutes.
This means the OPPO A74 will get you 5.73 hours of calling, 1.37 hours on Instagram, and 1.81 hours of YouTube from a 5-minute charge.
The OPPO A74 sports a Rear AI Triple Camera which features a 48MP main camera, 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera suited for capturing tiny details. At the front, the device has a 16MP selfie shooter.
OPPO says the device has stabilized video, you can take steady Video films in 30FPS at 1080 or 720p. Slow-motion videos can be filmed with SLO-MO in 720p at 120FPS.
The OPPO A74 only weighs about 175g and is only 7.95mm thin, with a 3D curved back cover for a comfortable grip.
OPPO A54
The OPPO A54 has a 6.5-inch LCD display with a 720 x 1600 resolution with a standard 60Hz refresh rate.
The A54 runs on a Mediatek Helio P35 (MT6765) Octa-Core Processor, also getting its juice from a 5000mAh of capacity, and 18W Fast Charge. This will last you up to 2.2 days on a single charge or give you 19.9 hours of YouTube video playback.
On the back, the A54 features a 13MP Main Camera, 2MP Macro Camera, and 2MP Depth. The front features a 16MP selfie shooter.
A54 also supports filming videos including SLO-MO at 720P at 90FPS with the rear camera, and up to 10 video Filters including Original, Gentle, Noon, Subtle and more.
The A54 is also IPX4 rated.

The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage OPPO A74 will come in two colors, Prism Black and Midnight Blue, and will retail at Sh28,999.

The OPPO A54 will also come in two colors, Crystal Black and Starry Blue, with two memory and storage options. The 4GB RAM + 64GB storage will retail at Sh21,999, while the 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM will go for Sh24,999.
