PayPal Holdings, Inc., an American multinational financial technology company operating an online payments system in the majority of countries that support online money transfers was forced to delete a Tweet after sparking major backlash from disgruntled users all over the world.
Paypal had decided to jump on a popular social media trend that lists things that are red flags.
The company which is supposed to serve as an electronic alternative to traditional paper methods such as checks and money orders attracted negative comments from users who had lost money on the platform and get this, to the platform.
Paypal is racist
“Paypal has been stealing from Africans for years & calling it “fraud management.” One can barely transact $100 without them suspending your account together with your money.” A disgruntled user stated.
Most of the complaints came from people of color, it was evident Paypal discriminates against people in the African continent mostly holding their payments for services rendered.
According to PayPal CEO Dan Schulman. corporations have a moral obligation to stand up for racial equality and social justice inside their own organizations and in the nation at large, however, it is such a shame that his own company leads in inequality and discrimination against the minority.
Paypal won’t dare block my account though, I dare them! Hit that donate button and see if it works!
Here are a bunch of reactions from people on the internet:

If Mpesa had a web wallet that didn't require a SIM number to use, then it would be a globally acceptable transfer service and we wouldn't have to suffer at the hands of PayPal

It is like @PayPal believes that a black person (Kenyan) should not receive more than 1,000 USD on their account… Account is suspended and you can't access your money. Some are being suspended for as little as 100 USD. Any way to get money out and abandon them? 😭😭.
