Since yesterday, Kenyans who use the Thunes API to withdraw money from their PayPal accounts to M-Pesa have flocked the interwebs after the system failed to work.
Despite Safaricom saying the problem has been resolved, users claim withdrawals are not going through with all their transactions being reversed and money returned to their PayPal accounts.
It is unclear when the service will be restored.
Since 2018, PayPal and Safaricom, and Thunes have partnered to enable Kenyans seamlessly move money between their M-PESA and PayPal accounts.
