The realme C33 is a budget smartphone that offers impressive features for its price range. realme C33 Design and Display
The C33 has a sleek and stylish design and weighs in at just 187 g (6.60 oz). It features a glass front, a plastic frame, and a plastic back, which is standard for all budget smartphones.
We had the Aqua Blue variant in the office and it looks decent, I didn’t quite find anything wrong with the build quality as well, it is solid, and it feels pretty comfortable to hold.
On the front, the realme c33 has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display has a brightness of 400 nits (typ), which makes it easy to read in bright sunlight. The screen-to-body ratio is about 82.1%, which means you get a reasonably large display in a compact form factor but you also have a teardrop notch and a big bottom bezel to live with.
Performance and Software
Out of the box, the realme C33 runs on the latest Android 12 operating system with Realme UI S on top. It is powered by the Unisoc Tiger T612 (12 nm) chipset and an Octa-core (2×1.8 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55) CPU, making it capable of handling most day-to-day tasks with ease. You won’t be able to do heavy tasks on this phone or run graphic-intensive games and software, but that is expected here, for the money you are chucking out, the Mali-G57 GPU will give you average but smooth gaming performance on less demanding games and software.

The phone comes with three storage options – 32GB 3GB RAM, 64GB 4GB RAM, and 128GB 4GB RAM. All variants support microSDXC cards up to 1TB. The phone also uses UFS 2.2, which makes it faster than phones that use eMMC storage.
Camera
The C33 features a dual-camera setup on the rear, including a 50 MP (wide) primary sensor and a 0.3 MP depth sensor. The camera comes with features like PDAF, LED flash, HDR, and panorama mode. It can record videos up to 1080p@30fps. The camera quality is impressive for a budget smartphone, and it can capture detailed photos with good color reproduction.
The front camera is a 5 MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, 27mm (wide), 1/5.0″, 1.12µm pixel size, and HDR support. It can record videos up to 720p@30fps. The selfie camera is decent and can take decent photos in good lighting conditions.

The realme C33 is no different, it is equipped with a non-removable Li-Po 5000 mAh battery that can last up to two days on a single charge, depending on usage. The phone supports 10W wired charging, which is slower than some of its competitors but still gets the job done.

The C33 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which is fast and accurate. It also has an accelerometer and proximity sensor.
