The Xiaomi sub-brand, Redmi, has been making headlines with its latest launch event for the Redmi Note 12 series. This smartphone series has been launched twice before, once in China and once in India. However, the brand seems to be high on its own supply as it is now launching the same series for the third time.

What is the Redmi Note 12 series?

Before we dive into the launch event, let’s take a quick look at the Note 12 series. This series consists of three smartphones: the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+. Smartphones are known for their sleek design, high-quality cameras, and powerful processors.

The Redmi Note 12 series was first launched in China in November of last year. Then, in January of this year, the series made its way to India. However, the Indian version of the Redmi Note 12 is different from the Chinese version, with the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Pro+ remaining the same.

Now, almost two months after the Indian launch, Redmi is launching the same series for the third time. The brand has named this event “Live vivid” and it is scheduled to take place on March 23. It appears that the company will be adding a new 4G device to the series together with a Redmi Note 12S variant.

Rumored 4G version

Redmi has made it clear that it is not done with the Note 12 series just yet. The brand has announced that it will be launching the same series for the third time, but this time around, it is unclear which market(s) this launch is for. The event has been announced by the global Xiaomi Twitter account, so we can assume it will be a “global” launch.

What We Can Expect

If the previous launches are anything to go by, we can expect the same high-quality smartphones from Redmi. The smartphones are expected to have the same sleek design, high-quality cameras, and powerful processors that the Note 12 series is known for.

The Launch Event Details

The launch event is scheduled to take place online on March 23 at 23:00 in China, which is 18:00 in Kenya.
