Samsung yesterday announced the Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A53, two 5G smartphones that feature the Exynos 1280 SoCs. Also mentioned in the release is the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G.
Another new addition to the Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A73 5G, will also be available in select markets
The Galaxy A73 5G sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The 163.7 mm tall handset has a 5,000 mAh battery just like the A53 and A33 5G. Along with IP67 certification and a microSD card slot
The Samsung Galaxy A73 5G runs on the Snapdragon 778G, an SoC that is already used in the Galaxy A52s 5G coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
Camera-wise the Galaxy A73 5G has a 108 MP camera, which supports OIS. The first Galaxy A series smartphone with a 108 MP camera, the Galaxy A73 5G utilizes 12 MP ultra-wide-angle, dual 5 MP depth and macro sensors, and a 32 MP front-facing camera.
Depending on its price, that could make the Galaxy A73 a very appealing prospect.
