We have already seen renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Z Flip 4, now according to recent reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s spec sheet will use the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, Yogesh Brar posted on Twitter also adding some more specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 Specs
The device will supposedly include a 6.2-inch HD+ cover display and a 7.6-inch QXGA+ AMOLED folding display. According to reports, both displays will feature a 120Hz refresh rate.
Brar adds that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 would be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, which was previously tipped by Ice Universe. The chipset is a variation of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC that delivers a 10% increase in CPU speed and a 30% increase in power efficiency.
According to the tipster, the tablet will have up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Samsung may include its latest UFS 4.0 technology into its next foldable to provide faster read and write capabilities. We wouldn’t bet on it, though!
In the Camera department, the device will have a 50MP + 12MP ultra-wide + 12MP (3x) rear camera combination. Samsung is expected to equip the Galaxy Z Fold 4 with the “strongest 3x camera ever.” The smartphone is also said to have a 16MP under-display camera beneath the inner, foldable display and a 10MP selfie shooter on the cover display, both of which are contained inside a top-center punch-hole.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 will have a 4,400mAh battery with 25W fast charging capabilities. It will run One UI 4.0, which is based on Android 12.
It’s important to note that Samsung has yet to confirm these specs. So take it with a grain of salt.
