Samsung has today announced the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G to deliver a complete package of the latest Galaxy innovations.

Powered by a brand-new processor, coupled with Galaxy’s signature AI camera, expansive and smooth display, and two-day battery life, the new Galaxy A series features 5G connectivity, defense-grade security, an eco-conscious, stylish, and slim design, and advanced connected experiences. Plus, both devices support continuous One UI and Android OS upgrades and security updates2 to ensure the user mobile experience is always awesome.

Samsung Galaxy A53 5G

The Galaxy A53 5G sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate for an immersive experience. The new Galaxy A53 5G features the tough Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and is IP67 water and dust resistant.

The device gets its juice from a 5,000mAh battery and supports up to 25W Fast Charging. Wall charger sold separately

In terms of camera technology, the Galaxy A53 5G has a quad-camera system that features a 12-megapixel fixed-focus ultra-wide, a 5-megapixel depth, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 64MP OIS Camera with VDIS technology that takes crisp and steady shots every time. On the front, the device is equipped with a 32MP front camera.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is powered by an Exynos 1280 chipset, built on 5nm architecture. This is coupled with 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and includes 5G support.

The Galaxy A53 5G will be available in select markets beginning April 1.

The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The new Galaxy A33 5G features the tough Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and is IP67 water and dust resistant

There are four rear cameras on the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, the main camera is a 48MP lens, coupled with an 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth-sensing shooter. Just like the A53 5G, there’s also optical image stabilization (OIS) here.

The device also runs on the Exynos 1280 paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage

The Galaxy A33 5G will be available beginning April 22.

Both devices run Android 12 with Samsung’s One UI 4 laid over the top.

Another new addition to the Galaxy A series, the Galaxy A73 5G, will also be available in select markets on April 22.
