Barely a month after unveiling the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, Samsung plans to hold its next Galaxy Unpacked event on Feb. 8 where the South Korean electronics manufacturer is expected to show off its Galaxy S22 lineup.
We have seen leaks of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series showing their key hardware components, software features, and aesthetics in recent weeks. If the leaks are anything to go by, at least three phones will be unveiled in the line-up: the Galaxy S22, the S22 Plus, and the S22 Ultra which will have an S Pen-equipped in a bid to replace the Note line-up.
According to this South Korean publication, Samsung is now discussing when to send out invitations for the event, which the outlet claims to have cited. The story goes on to say that the devices will be available for pre-order on February 9 and that shipping will begin on February 9.
There are no new details about the phones in the report, however the new smartphones will probably be powered by the new Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and Samsung’s own Exynos 2200 chip, which will be a successor to the Exynos 2100.
If these reports hold water Samsung should issue official invites in the very near future. We’ll keep you posted.
