Swedish audio streaming and media services provider, Spotify has officially announced plans to launch in over 80 new countries, and yes, you guessed it right, Kenya is one of them.
Kenyans and Africans at large have in the past complained of being heavily sidelined by the streaming service and this now looks to change.
The company, which has been running for over a decade, is currently available in 93 countries with about 345 million monthly active users.

Spotify will now join Apple Music and Deezer as international options available for Kenyans to stream music.
Spotify has also today announced a new high-end subscription service called Spotify HiFi. The company said Spotify HiFi will be available to Spotify Premium subscribers and will bring music in “CD-quality, lossless audio format.”
