Chinese electronics and media company, Startimes Kenya has sealed a deal with Leading media and Entertainment Company, WarnerMedia, to broadcast Hollywood blockbuster channel, TNT on the pay-TV.
TNT will be available on StarTimes’ terrestrial platform on Basic Bouquet channel 047 and channel 186 in the satellite platform’s Smart Bouquet.
WarnerMedia has been in a long-standing relationship with StarTimes, which already distributes its Toonami action and animation channel.
Speaking on the introduction of the new channel, StarTimes regional marketing director Mr. Aldrine Nsubuga noted that the launch of TNT on StarTimes demonstrates the brand’s unremitting commitment to deliver premium content to Kenyans.
“Having TNT on board for our subscribers intensifies our progressive efforts to bolster our content offering for the whole family entertainment as we seek to grow the value of our bouquet offering to subscribers across the country,” said Mr. Nsubuga.

As part of the launch, TNT has a line-up of titles with the premiere of its latest TNT Original Movie, ‘Human Capital’; a Fan Month block dedicated films starring Denzel Washington; and the reoccurring Film Fight between an original movie facing one of its sequels.
