Kenyan startup tappi which is a n end-to-end digital commerce SaaS solution tailored for small and medium-sized businesses has secured $1.5 million in an oversubscribed pre-seed funding round, marking a significant milestone in its mission to digitize and empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across Africa. The round was led by Mercy Corps Ventures and Chui Ventures. With participation from Digital Currency Group, SOSV, Resilience17, growX ventures, Orbit Startups, Reflect Ventures and angel investors and advisors from global tech companies, including Google, Salesforce, Zendesk, and the financial sector.
