Telegram has launched two new web apps called Telegram WebZ and WebK which bring Telegram’s mobile functionality to desktop users.
The apps offer all the same Telegram functionality but in a more polished interface filled with features like animated stickers, chat folders, and a dark mode. The apps work not only on desktops but also on any device with a browser, including smartphones.
Telegram says the two apps exist simultaneously to maintain internal competition.
How to use Telegram WebZ or WebK
The two web apps are found on Telegram’s website. When you open the website, head over to the Web Apps section on the ‘Apps’ page and choose either Telegram WebZ or WebK and you will be redirected to the site.
Similar to WhatsApp Web, once you are on the WebZ or WebK site, you can then log in by a QR code scan with your phone, or you can go the old Telegram way and log in by keying in your credentials.
