While Clubhouse drags on delivering the Android version of its popular voice-based service, competitors keep bringing features that have made it successful to their apps available for Android users. Telegram recently launched its Voice Chats feature for channels and is now reportedly testing the ability to ‘schedule’ them just like in Clubhouse.
With the use of a countdown, scheduling a voice chat will pin a notification in your channel that will remind them that the event will start at a specific time. On Telegram, scheduling a voice chat also shows users a chronological list of all your upcoming events.
How to Schedule Voice Chats on Telegram.
This is strictly only available for Telegram users on the Beta version, for now, you can sign up for the beta version of the Telegram app on the Google Play Store.
- Confirm you’re on the latest Beta, Open Telegram, and head over to the familiar option to start a Voice Chat in any of your channels.
- Tap on the button to schedule your Voice Chat and choose a time, then tap Start.
