Would you pay for a ticket to join a Twitter Space? Starting today, everyone with 600 or more followers on Twitter can host a Space. The popular microblogging platform also said more features for paces like ticketed spaces, co-hosting, scheduling, More block labels + warnings and Improved captions are in the works.
“Based on what we’ve learned, these accounts are likely to have a good experience hosting because of their existing audience. before bringing the ability to create a Space to everyone, we’re focused on a few things,” Twitter said.
Ticketed Spaces will be part of the new features by Twitter to let users monetize their content on Twitter. “This a way for hosts to be rewarded for the experiences they create and for listeners to have exclusive access to the convos they care about most. soon, we’ll test ticketed Spaces with a small group where hosts can set ticket prices and quantity.”
