In February, the Kenyan government said it had finally kicked off the exercise of issuing Huduma Namba cards 2 years after the registration exercise was carried out, Months later many Kenyans are yet to receive their cards.

The exercise which had been limited to Nairobi residents now seems to have started rolling out to more counties worldwide. “Kindly note that the cards are currently being issued in Nairobi alone. You will receive communication once the program has been fully launched,” Huduma Kenya had said in a statement.

You can now track the status of your Huduma Namba card, the government announced on Tuesday.

How to Track Huduma Namba Status and pick-up point Online

  1. Head over to the Huduma Namba Confirmation website
  2. Enter your ID card number
  3. Click ‘check card status’
  4. A pop-up will appear with the ‘Printing status’, ‘Collection status’ and the ‘Delivery point’

According to the Government spokesperson Rtd. Col. Cyrus Oguna revealed that 9,154,184 Huduma Namba cards have so far been processed and dispatched.

He also noted that only 6,003,144 cards have been collected and urged Kenyans who have already received notification messages but are yet to collect their cards to do so promptly.

“The Government has continued with the exercise of processing and issuance of Huduma Namba Cards. To date, 9,154,184 cards have been processed and dispatched, out of which, 6,003,144 have been collected,” he said.

The government spokesperson also announced that the government is planning to roll out phase two of the exercise.
