Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is launching the Redmi Note 10 Series in Kenya on April 10th, 2021.

The phones launched earlier in the year include the vanilla Redmi Note 10 and the top-tier Redmi Note 10 Pro and will be available in 6 variants in the country.

Redmi Note 10 Pro specifications

The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi Note 10 Pro runs on Android 11 -based MIUI 12. It features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with HDR10 support, 100pc coverage of DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, and 1,200 nits of peak brightness. The display has an impressive 120Hz refresh rate.

Xiaomi says the device comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and has TUV Rheinland low blue light certification. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC coupled with Adreno 618 GPU and up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM.

For storage, the phone is available with up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB) through a dedicated slot.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro sports a quad rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary Samsung ISOCELL GW3 sensor, a 5-megapixel super macro shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, you get a 16-megapixel selfie shooter that is housed in a tiny hole-punch cutout.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, an Infrared (IR) blaster, a welcome 3.5mm headphone jack, an arc side fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C port.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro gets its juice from a 5,020mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The phone measures 164.5×76.15×8.1mm and weighs 192 grams.

Redmi Note 10 specifications

Under the hood, the phone runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SoC coupled up with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB) through a dedicated slot.

The Redmi Note 10 sports a quad rear camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel primary Sony IMX582 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, the phone has a 13-megapixel selfie shooter.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, an Infrared (IR) blaster, USB Type-C, and a welcome 3.5mm headphone jack.

During the launch event on April 10th, Xiaomi notes that they will give out 200 Mi band 5’s. Additionally, Pre-orders start on the 10th and each pre-order will come packed with a FREE mi band 5 as well.

Xiaomi has not mentioned anything about the pricing yet.
