The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 is finally receiving Android 10, and it comes along with MIUI 12 update.
The update is releasing to all Redmi Note 8’s globally. The phone launched with MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie. after which it received its stable MIUI 11 update
Previously, only the Redmi Note 8 Chinese variant had received the Android 10 update.

The update for the Redmi Note 8 is rolling out with the build designation “MIUI 12.0.1.0 QCOMIXM” meaning it’s the very first MIUI 12 build the global Redmi Note 8 is getting.
The update is about 2GB large.
