Xiaomi has announced a 100W Wireless Charging Stand for the company’s flagships as well as for devices with Qi wireless charging.
The new desktop wireless charging stand launched in China succeeds the 80W model that was introduced in October of last year.
In terms of design, the charging stand features a pyramid-shaped body with a triangular transparent acrylic or glass platform where you place your smart device on. The charging stand also has an internal cooling system.
On the inside are dual Qi charging coils for wireless energy transfer, as well as a dynamic fan that is automatically activated if the device gets too hot.
Currently, no smartphone from the company will get the max charging of the newer 100W wireless charging. The company’s Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra support 67W wireless charging, while the Mi MIX 4 can charge at 50W wireless charging.
However, the new flagships may benefit from this wireless charging technology. The new Xiaomi 100W wireless charging stand is available only in China right now. It costs 599 Yuan which is roughly $92.
Also included together with the new 100W wireless charging stand is the brand’s 120W wall plug charger and a 6A USB cable. The accessory is only available in a premium-looking black and gold color scheme.
