Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 9s Launches In Kenya

Unveiled during Xiaomi’s global online stream, the Redmi Note 9S is now available in Kenya. As of this publication, the Redmi Note 9S is available on online platforms like Jumia and is starting from Sh24,999.

The new Redmi Note 9S ships with either 4GB or 6GB of memory, up to 128GB of onboard storage,  powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset, which consists of an octa-core CPU with a 2.3GHz maximum clock speed, AdrenoTM 618 GPU and 8nm process technology. Redmi Note 9S boasts of offering an unparalleled user experience through its advanced AI technology and power-efficiency improvements and has a large albeit very disappointing LCD 6.67-inch FHD+ display.  (not amoled)

It is also the first smartphone in the Redmi Note lineup to feature a Z-axis linear vibration motor which enables faster acceleration which results in better haptic feedback compared to traditional motors.

In the world of fast charging, the Redmi Note 9s is not left behind, Its 5020mAh high-capacity battery keeps users fully powered throughout the day, even during heavy usage and offers 18W fast charging and comes with a 22.5W in-box charger.

The Redmi Note 9S features an impressive quad-camera setup on the back with a 48MP main lens and a large 1/2” sensor for ultra-high-resolution day photos. Its 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens lets users capture large group images with ease, while its 5MP macro lens and 2MP depth sensor round out the setup to capture beautiful images. On the front, Redmi Note 9S sports a first-ever in-display front camera in a Redmi Note,  the camera is a 16MP lens, minimizing front screen bezels without compromising camera quality.
