apple TV

Google had earlier in the year promised to bring Apple TV to more devices running Android, Now, the Apple TV app is now available on all modern Android TV devices.

The streaming service will be available for the “Android TV OS ecosystem”, which will allow any recent Android TV device to access the service.

Google had earlier announced that the Apple TV app was available on the Chromecast with Google TV, as well as all Sony and TCL devices running Google TV but now the app comes to any Android TV,

Users can easily download the app by just searching for it in the Play Store on their Android TV. You can also sideload the APK file and it will work just fine.

There are no major restrictions to the availability either. Google says that any Android TV device running 8.0 Oreo or higher that’s not an operator-tier device has access to Apple TV starting today.

Don’t expect a formal announcement from Google or other OEMs, take our word for it.

Previously, only Sony Bravia smart TVs were able to access Apple TV.
