For the past few days, the internet has been abuzz over WhatsApps new Terms of Service (ToS). The updated terms caused an uproar among WhatsApp users who were afraid of their data being shared to Facebook, with some even switching to alternatives.
WhatsApp, via a tweet, has highlighted points on private messages, group chats, contacts, calls, and data saying neither WhatsApp nor Facebook can access your private messages or hear your calls.
The Facebook-owned company maintains that it does not keep track of your calls, does not share your contacts with Facebook, and that your shared location and group chats remain encrypted and hidden.
