YouTube to Start Hiding Dislikes From Videos

YouTube announced it was testing hiding dislikes on videos in an attempt to stop targeted dislike campaigns against creators and now it seems the time has come.

According to the video streaming pltform, creators were having to deal with targeted dislike campaigns which could have a negative effect on their wellbeing hence the move.

YouTube said the move comes from feedback from creators.

Creators, you'll still be able to see the exact number of likes and dislikes in YouTube Studio. For viewers, if you're in the experiment, you can still like or dislike a video to share feedback with creators and help tune the recommendations you see on YouTube.
